Last Weekend I ran my 3rd ever marathon and it was the best one yet!

Grateful for the marathon journey that I have been on these past 2 years.

In this episode, I share my deep dive reflection with you on how I executed nearly the perfect race day strategy despite the unexpected challenges I faced. I hope by sharing my marathon and running journey with you that you will be able to learn something and apply it to your running journey!

We at Spark Healthy Runner believe that a well-designed marathon training plan and race day strategy can be the key to unlocking your full potential as a runner.

We cover all of this and more in this episode:

- How I got in a relaxed state of mind, body, and soul before the race

- How I responded to the unexpected weather on race morning

- Finding a rhythm early in the race

- Feeling like I wasn’t racing at the mid point

- Fighting for the finish line with 20 mph headwind gusts at mile 22!

There are six parts of your running journey that need to be optimized so you can run strong and last long! Learn them here
