Today on the show we've got former NBA Scout for the Cleveland Cavaliers and former College Basketball Coach, Mr. Steve Done (A.K.A. Coach Done).
Of course we talk a little (ok like a significant amount) of ball. But we go deeper than just talking basketball.
This one gets into CHARACTER. And what character means. And how Coach Done identified this trait in young up and coming players as a scout.
We talk the importance of AWARENESS in basketball and in life. And how amazing it is to have people in your life who are honest & direct with you - in helping you to bring awareness to the blind spots in your life.
And finally, Coach brings us through his experience at "rock bottom". Outwardly, everything looked great. But inside he was a self described "mess". Much of this, he found was fueled by resentment.
How did he turn things around? Forgiveness. Forgiving himself, forgiving others - and in particular, his parents.
