What do you do when you are struggling with your mental health?

There are many ways people go about coping and healing, and in this episode of the podcast, we sat down with Joel Evan to dive into his own mental health story and ways that we can heal by going deeper and getting to the root cause of the issue instead of just treating the symptoms.

Joel is a firm believer in aligning with your truth in order to stay true to who you are and heal fully, and we are so happy to have him on the show to share his story with you today.

Joel Evan is a life coach through the Human Potential Institute and an Integrative Health Practitioner studying under naturopath/functional medicine doctor, Stephen Cabral. He’s able to tackle more complex health issues other than just weight loss such as: parasites, gut dysbiosis, H Pylori, hormone issues, heavy metal detox, and much more.

Joel has furthered his functional medicine knowledge by becoming a CellCore practitioner, as he’s seen some amazing results in the Lyme community, those suffering from mold, children with autism and more.

Joel is also a speaker and the host of the podcast The Hacked Life, where he’s interviewed some of the top health and high-performance experts in the world.

In today’s episode, we cover:

  • Joel’s journey into life coaching and integrative health
  • Mental health stressors for police officers
  • Why we need to go deeper when our mental health is suffering
  • The power of therapy
  • How work as a first responder can impact your life
  • How powerful your energy really is
  • The importance of always aligning with your truth
  • Why disconnecting from reality is such a big problem
  • The problem with treating symptoms of illnesses, not the root cause
  • Learning from your failures and not passing judgment on others

We hope you enjoyed our conversation with Joel.! If you want to learn more about how to work with him, make sure to visit his website and follow him on Instagram.
