In this short audo on anxiety and emotional eating (food addictions, cravings and restrictions) I cover why these patterns emerge and how using willpower or self-admonishment don't work to transform them. The reason is we use food as a substitute for feeling that which we find uncomfortable or overwelming. So instead of shaming ourselves we need to use compassion and sensory tools that allow us to connect with our emotions without fear.
