The incredible edible egg. It’s arguably the world’s most perfect food with exactly the amount of fat and protein your body needs to be healthy and strong. There are so many nutrients contained in eggs that it would be silly to think you would need to limit your consumption of them for any reason. ⁣ ⁣ But in this episode of JIMMY RANTS on The LLVLC Show, I read from a study published in the British Journal of Nutrition last month entitled “Higher egg consumption associated with increased risk of diabetes in Chinese adults – China Health and Nutrition Survey” that does exactly that! The researchers claim that eating just one egg a day will increase your risk of developing Type 2 diabetes by 60 percent. ⁣ ⁣ I do a deep dive into this study and explain in great detail why this is very bad science with flawed conclusions. It’s something we see repeated often in observational studies like this and the results they share do a great disservice to the scientific community and the general public. Watch and see how you can spot this kind of science to help those who become convinced of the headlines. ⁣
