Yameer Adhar, host of Voices In My Head gets inside the head of Sumiran Annamaria Kashyap. She a 33 year old private banking recruitment consultant turned freelance lifestyle brand writer. In the digital world, she’s known as Thinking Totty, a platform whereby she engages with brands on collaboration ideas and execution of brand storytelling, besides blogging about fashion, beauty, and wellness. Currently, she supports communications and strategy firm Longform (formerly VTY) and their clients. She works independently with clients as well, and likes to collaborate with publications and think tanks when the opportunity presents itself. Sumiran is a scholar of divination methods and metaphysical healing, with a particular interest in the Thoth Tarot, Angel Communications and Crystal Healing. She credits these realms, Ayurvedic rituals, and Dr. Edward Bach’s Flower Remedy system for bringing her closer to who she’s always wanted to be. In her own time, she likes to catch up on her reading. She loves chocolates, chai, coffee, and children.
The discussion on this episode of the podcast is about Sumiran's wellness journey, how she dealt with the loss of a parent, her knowledge and experience with divination methods, metaphysical healing and much more. Sumiran is a deep thinker and a spiritually evolved soul which is why this has turned out to be the longest episode of the podcast till date (split between Part 1 & Part 2). In the short time that I have got to know her she has taught me a lot about life. She has inspired me to keep taking steps towards my goals daily and find the courage to continue to fight my own demons.
