Today I am joined by McKenzie Fox, the Director of Operations for The Collective, a treatment center focused on social health and connection based in Nashville, TN as well as a therapist who works with people struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image and relationship concerns. McKenzie shares her personal experience with an eating disorder and her journey towards body liberation. She explores the five pillars of health and the negative effects of focusing solely on physical health, and the topic of fat-phobia and how it affects individuals' overall health. McKenzie also shares about the concept of body liberation, where we aim to exist in our bodies without self-judgment.
