Many of those people do not fully recover due to "therapy caps" and other barriers. They face a lifetime of disability and two thirds will never work again. Therapy caps are dollar amount limits on therapies that the insurance companies put in place to protect against over-spending. But what's over-spending for one may be the recovery of another. There are very few therapies that actually produce recovery to stroke patients. And if someone wants to peruse their recovery beyond the insurance company's coverage they have to pay out of pocket. Most would pay if they thought there was something that promised to help. A physician is helping stroke patients improve their outcomes. And she's using peptides as an important part of her protocol. If you've suffered a stroke or know someone who has, you'll want to listen closely. Hope is a new feeling for many.
