Toby Jenkins, LMFT is the founder of Jenkins Couples and Family Therapy LLC and Jenkins Professional Services (JPS), an executive coaching and organizational consulting business.

Toby brings over 10 years of experience working with couples in marriage ministry and his training from earning a Masters degree in Couples and Family Therapy at the University of Kentucky to Jenkins Couples & Family Therapy. With these skills and experiences Toby specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and transitions.

Toby is also the founder and owner of Jenkins Professional Services (JPS), an executive coaching and organizational consulting business. JPS combines Toby’s business background with his experience as a therapist to help leaders and organizations make changes and sustain them to meet the demands of business.

Prior to going into private practice, Toby spent 10 years as an engineer and HR manager at Procter & Gamble and 10 years as a full-time stay at home Dad. Toby holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University, a Masters degree in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Kentucky and has completed the Executive Coaching Certificate program at Case Western Reserve. He has conducted extensive research on preventing and surviving marital infidelity.

For fun, Toby enjoys family road trips, distance running, cycling, golf and carpentry.

Toby joins Yogi today to talk about the importance of mental health, therapy, and self care. We discuss the perceptions that prevent people from seeking therapy that are based around cultures of gender, career, socioeconomics, and how working with a trained therapist could really help with the issues we are currently seeing. This was a great conversation from an incredible and empathetic man who has a genuine desire to help our global community.
