Katt Reavis works in law enforcement and is currently stationed in the jail system in Arizona. She started a program called Protected which is in the process of becoming a Non-Profit. Protected is designed to help Public Safety professionals struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD and suicidal ideation. It provides courses and confidential therapy for these people working everyday to serve the public.
Mental illness is a common problem in careers like law enforcement officers, fire fighters, emergency responders, nursing and many more and Katt is doing a great job shedding light on this and making much more space for these professionals to find the help and resources they need.
