Some workouts have multiple benefits. This is Judy Gaman and this is your Stay Young Medical Minute. Today’s tip is all about getting your workout in while you improve your living condition. That’s right – I’m taking about cleaning your house. Need to work out those arms, fold the clothes and beat out that rug. If legs are your problem areas, practice your squats while you clean the windows. And cleaning floors are a great way to give your abs a killer workout. Grab that vacuum or mop and get busy. If you live in a two story house, you have a built in stair stepper. Make multiple trips up and down and see your derriere shrink before your eyes. Not only will household chores keep you fit, a clean house is great for mental health too. And, cleaning can be a great family affair - so enlist the spouse and kids and work out together. When it’s all done you can reward yourself by going to the movie and relaxing. You can find more Stay Young Medical Minutes at StayYoungAmerica.com that’s StayYoungAmerica.com
