Show Topic: The Road Warrior’s Guide to Romance and Relationships

Co-Hosts: Judy Gaman, Walter Gaman, Mark Anderson

Guest: Steve Haberly (in studio)

Segment 1:

Many of our listeners are what we refer to as road warriors. The job may take you or your spouse from coast to coast or halfway around the globe. Being separated is a major concern for relationships and can have a huge impact on marriages and families. We’re going to talk about not only how to stay young when you’re on the road, but stay engaged and connected with the people you love. We have a guest in the studio with us, Steve Haberly, he has a blog at https://howsyourconnection.com where he gives excellent advice on this very subject.

  • Steve – you’re a pretty smart guy with a PhD from UT Austin and a history of 25 years of global travel. Was this international travel what lead you to start your blog?
  • Docs – in addition to staying married and happy, let’s round table a few thins patients need to know to stay young while on the road.
  • Quick blurt-out roundtable (for fun) with our top “to do” list while traveling overnight or extended periods of time
  • Quick blurt-out roundtable (for fun) with our top “NOT to do” list while traveling.

While the participants in the study had lowered testosterone, but no symptoms, I am still concerned about lowering testosterone levels for other reasons, besides the sexual ones. Participants also had slight weight gain and lowered HDL “good” cholesterol.
