Joseph creates space for cutting-edge ideas and consciousness to rise and flourish. His fascination with language and its effects on human beings has led him to research cognition and linguistics to uncover where people are capable of going and how to use our words, images and stories to inspire and move them. Joseph is a proponent of meditation, plant medicine and shamanism as indispensable to the evolution of human consciousness. He has used his research on language to help organizations to more effectively communicate human rights, prison reform, climate change and other complicated social and economic issues.

In this episode we will talk about …

- The vibrational frequency of words as sound and why that is an important principle to understand how to evolve as more conscious human beings.

-How do the words we use affect our mood and behaviours?

-Why consciously or unconsciously using passive sentence structures and negative frames disconnects us and numbs us and makes us feel more alone.

-How our attachment to subject and object sentence structures perpetuates separation and perpetuates our own inner dramas and traumas.

-How can the conscious use of language affect change in the behavioural patterns and the structure of our increasingly disconnected modern society.

-How plant medicine may be the key to helping us see that alphabet-based linear languages are inherently obstacles to our own self-realization.
