In this episode, we are talking to Michelle Gallant of the BC Schizophrenia Society. Michelle is here to talk to us about how to recognize the signs of Schizophrenia, what to do after a Schizophrenia diagnosis and some of the supports that are available. Her goal is to let others know that they are not alone, there are resources that can help alleviate Schizophrenia and other mental health concerns with care, education, guidance, and compassion.

Michelle joined the BCSS team with a dedication to helping provide support and resources to families who face mental illness within their families. She comes with first-hand experience as someone who grew up in a home with a family member with very aggressive illnesses. She came to BCSS with the intention of being the advocate that families require, as she recognizes the importance since it was the one thing missing from her family home.
