I suffer from cold hands and feet, almost on a daily basis. If you’re like me, you need to understand the cause. This is Judy Gaman and this is your Stay Young Medical Minute. Those cold hands and cold feet may be telling you something. Everyone gets cold when they are exposed to the elements, but some people can get cold hands and feet even when sitting in a warm room. This could be a warning sign, so if you suffer from cold extremities, talk to your doctor. There are a number of things you may need to be checked for. For example, diabetes, thyroid disorder, circulation issues, or even Raynaud’s. The body neehttp://www.stayyoungamerica.comds adequate circulation to feed the cells the nutrients they need and blood flow restriction doesn’t allow for the nutrients to pass through. Cold hand and feet could mean a reduction in blood flow, so don’t mess around – get it checked out.
