Episode Summary

Move over Dos Equis guy, I’ve found a new most interesting man in the world. Gerard Powell, the founder of the Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica, had to overcome years of delinquency, drug addiction, and depression in order to find his true purpose in life. Gerry discovered Ayahausca after a trip to Costa Rica, an experience recounted in his powerful book Sh*t The Moon Said. During this trip, he discovered the root of his behavioral problems and ended with him obtaining the blueprint to Rythmia, which would later become the #1 best-rated resort (in the world) on Trip Advisor. While Gerry details the numerous mistakes he made over the years, he explains that he hopes to be remembered as the guy who screwed up hundreds of times but, was able to completely change his life around. In this podcast, we dive into Gerard’s life story, the benefits of plant medicine, and achieving spiritual healing.
