Matt King is currently the Director of Speed and Athletic Performance at Columbia University. Matt is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a certified USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach, and a certified USA Track and Field Coach. He was a consensus All-American football player as a senior at Maine in 2006, and also spent time playing with teams in the NFL, CFL, and AFL prior to starting his coaching career. Born and raised in Buffalo,NY Jeremy was a late bloomer athletically, who eventually worked his to earning a Division I scholarship to the University of Maine to play football. Closing in on his 5th year as a pro, he has been a member of the prestigious fraternity known as the National Football League, playing for the Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, and the Indianapolis Colts. Jeremy has also spent time in the Canadian Football League and the Arena Football League. Ron Whitcomb has been with the Old Dominion football program since the beginning and worked his ninth season with the Monarchs in 2015.Whitcomb, departed as the Black Bears' all-time leader in completions (755), total offense (8,801) and touchdown passes (68). His 8,183 passing yards ranked second, as did his .592 completion percentage. One of three senior captains at Maine in 2006, Whitcomb was named the Atlantic-10 and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Year as a redshirt freshman after passing for 2,428 yards and 21 touchdowns. The passing yardage was the most by a freshman in Atlantic-10 history and he also established a new school record with touchdown passes in 11 straight games.
