Menopause is a confusing and alienating time for most of us. We don't know whether we're coming or going and we can't seem to get the information and support we need.

Now, imagine going through that same frustration but not as a white woman, but as a black woman? Just the colour of a woman's skin can change her experience with her symptoms and the support she receives.

This inequity can be very harmful for women of colour. Omisade Burney-Scott, the founder of Black Girl's Guide to Surviving Menopause joins me to talk about the journey she went through and how she is helping guide others through menopause.
