In this episode, Georgie is joined by the inspiring Venetia La Manna, a passionate fair fashion campaigner. Through her creative use of social media, Venetia challenges fashion brands on their environmental impact and unethical practices, often organising actions against Big Fashion tackling the tough issues affecting our planet and its people.

As a co-founder of Remember Who Made Them, Venetia advocates for a solidarity economy in fashion, amplifying garment makers' voices. In 2023, she presented "The Fast Furniture Fix" for BBC Radio 4 and was featured in Channel 4's "Inside Shein." Her work has appeared in HUNGER and ELLE, with contributions to Shado and The Independent.

This is a great episode for those experiencing eco-anxiety, particularly about plastic and fast fashion.

Venetia shares insights on:

  • How the average person can make a difference
  • Managing everyday environmental anxiety
  • Causes you can get involved in now to help
  • Shifting from hopelessness to inspiration about our planet's future

Feeling helpless can be common, but Venetia offers practical steps to empower us to take action and make a difference! An episode not to me missed. To find out more about Venetia and her work:
